Within a period of three months following the announcement of the course of the profession, the Office may prohibit the exercise of the profession in the event that the legal conditions are not met, or are not supported by the evidence submitted. After the expiry of the above period it is presumed that the profession is exercised freely (No. 3919/2011-GB 32/A/2-23-2011). The person concerned, in the above-mentioned case of implied authorisation, may request a certificate from the issuing authority in accordance with Article 10(4) of Law 3230/2004 (Law No 44/A/11-2-2004).

or a degree from an EPA.L provided for under Law 4186/2013 in the field of ‘assistant nursing’, from domestic schools or foreign schools which are equivalent to the above domestic ones.

Educational
An internship certificate from a public hospital, public health centre (Regional Health Authority – YPE), clinic or legal person governed by public law and legal person governed by private law provided for in Article 2 of Ministerial Decision No Υ7/οικ.4756/2001 (Government Gazette, Series II, No 1082), as amended and currently in force.
I. No internship shall be required for: (a) holders of a level 5 professional qualification, education and training diploma from the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) in all the different fields of ‘assistant nursing’ after having successfully attended relevant courses at an IEK provided for under Law 4186/2013 and Law 4763/2020 and having passed a certification examination organised by EOPPEP; (b) holders of a level 5 degree from EOPPEP obtained after having successfully attended a ‘Post-secondary school year - Traineeship class’ at an EPA.L provided for in Law 4186/2013 and Law 4763/2020 and having successfully passed a certification examination organised by EOPPEP; (c) holders of a degree from an EPA.L or from a former Technical and Vocational Educational Establishment (TEE) in the field of ‘assistant nursing’ after having successfully attended a ‘Post-secondary school year - Traineeship class’ at an EPA.L provided for in Law 4186/2013 and Law 4763/2020 and having obtained a ‘certificate of attendance’ WITHOUT taking part in a certification examination organised by EOPPEP; (d) holders of a vocational training diploma at the level of post-secondary vocational training at an IEK (Law 2009/92) who have completed a 6-month optional internship before obtaining their certification Ministerial Decision No Ζ/1802/1996 (Government Gazette, Series II, No 104).
II. Those who meet the requirements laid down in Article 4 of Ministerial Decision No Y7b/οικ.4756/2001, as currently in force, and Article 5 of Presidential Decree 210/2001, as currently in force, shall be exempted from the internship obligation.
