Description
Via the homepage, the employer selects ‘Applications for granting a work permit for Sundays and public holidays’ and then ‘New work permit application for Sundays and public holidays’. The electronic form of the application opens up and they select the specific Sunday or public holiday from the calendar. Next, the user selects the branch (registered office or branch) for which the application is submitted, and all the fields in the section ‘Place of employment’ are automatically completed. Provided that the employees will work at the location of the branch, its address is filled in again, as before, in the field ‘Exact location’. In the case where the employees will work in a different place, then the address of the location where the employees will work on Sundays or public holidays will be filled in this field. The user selects the number of men and women to which the application refers, and then, after downloading the ‘Suggested form’, which contains all the application details, they fill in all the fields and proceeds with the attachment. Please note that the attachment of another document, in addition to the suggested form, is permitted, as long as this document contains the following particulars:
NAME, SURNAME, SSN, SPECIALTY, EXACT DATE AND HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT, ALTERNATIVE REST DAY PER EMPLOYEE AND REASON FOR THE NEED FOR WORK ON A SUNDAY / PUBLIC HOLIDAY. In addition, it must bear the business stamp with the particulars and signature of the person in charge. If the document does not meet the above conditions, the application will be rejected. By clicking ‘Submit’, the application receives a reference number and appears on the list with all the applications, while, via the ‘View’ option, the user can view their application and print it.
Notes
For every single Sunday or public holiday, a separate application is required.
The deadline for submitting the application is set as the working day immediately preceding that public holiday or Sunday which the application refers to, and by 13.00.
