Description
Applicants may apply for a certificate stating their permanent residence, either by going to a KEP (Citizens’ Service Centre) or to the municipality in person, or by booking a digital appointment on myKEPlive, in order to be served by a KEP employee, or via gov.gr for municipalities that are on the system. Other municipalities will gradually join the system and accept applications.

Establishment
The status of permanent resident, where required, shall be certified by the Mayor or the President of the Community. The certificate concerned shall be issued if it is established in the municipality or in the Community, which shall be demonstrated by the documentary evidence provided by the person concerned, or a copy of a clearer of the relevant Public Economic Service (OHIM). If, on a justification, the status of permanent resident cannot be demonstrated by the above supporting documents, it shall be demonstrated by the person concerned by any other appropriate means. The responsible statement of the person concerned cannot be used as a sole means of proof.

Possession of passwords to enter software
Access to the gov.gr portal and digital version of the certificate requires the possession of taxisnet codes. If the Municipality of the permanent residence of the person concerned is not on the list of Municipalities that provide the certificate digitally, one can issue the certificate by closing a digital appointment to myKEPlive to be served by an official of the Civil Service Centres (CSUs), where taxisnet codes are needed again.

Description
The decision states that the form of a solemn declaration for the above procedure is repealed and replaced by the correct proof of the TECO account or a copy of the liquidation of the relevant Public Economic Service (WHO). Where the status of permanent resident is not substantiated by the above supporting documents, it may be demonstrated by the person concerned, by any appropriate means, but not only by a responsible declaration by the person concerned.
