Description
The procedure concerns the issue of a Special Identity Card of Expatriates from the countries of the USSR.
Those who are entitled to obtain, in accordance with paragraph 11 of Article 1 of Law 2790/2000, as amended and valid, a Special Identity Card for Expatriates, shall submit a request in person with the supporting documents referred to in paragraph 3 of Article 1 of that Law, the Secretary-General of the Region of their place of residence, if they are resident in Greece, or the Hellenic Consulate of their place of residence, if they are resident in countries of the former Soviet Union. For the purpose of granting a Special ID card for Expatriates from the former USSR, in minor children, the application with the necessary supporting documents is submitted by the person concerned. If the person having parental care is already a holder of a Special Identity Card for Expatriates, his/her minor children are also entitled to a corresponding card.
