Application - Solemn Declaration of the person concerned (Article 8 of Law 1599/1986), stating that: "I announce to your service the operation of a rental company for passenger cars and submit to you the supporting documents provided for in the legislation in question, in order to verify the fulfilment of the statutory conditions for the operation of the undertaking in question with the following information: company name, business address (Municipality/Community, Street, No. Postal Code), VAT No of the company, Tax Office in the location of the company, telephone, fax and e-mail".

Notes:

In accordance with Article 4 of the Ministerial Decision 16597/2010 (A’2156), the rental companies of private cars may establish branches throughout Greece in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 2 of that Decision.

        Rules concerning a lack of reply from the competent authority and the legal consequences for the use:

        In case the 15-day period from the date of submission of the notification has elapsed without action, the services ofprivate passenger car rental are provided freely and the person concerned may request a certificate from the authority responsible for issuing the act, in accordance with par. 4 of Article 10 of Law 10. 3220/2004, which is granted automatically.

Alternatively, the issue of the administrative fee can be completed via the online e-paravolo platform using the taxisnet codes of the interested party, in the fee code 5714, while the amount of money of the offence can be paid either at a bank store or via web-banking. 300 €
